1. What matters most
TDEEzy does not require an account and does not send your food diary, weight, targets or Apple Health data to the developer. The app’s functional data remains in a local database on your device.
2. Data controller
For information you choose to send through support and for technical website data, the data controller is:
Matteo Scirpoli
Email: info@scirpolistudio.com
Website: scirpolistudio.com
3. Data processed in the app
Depending on the features you use, TDEEzy may process age, biological sex used by the formula, height, weight, activity level, manual BMR, goals, calories, macros, meals, foods, hydration, saved plans and check-ins.
This information is used to calculate your energy needs, build your plan, maintain the diary and show summaries and progress. Providing it is optional, but some features cannot produce personalised results without the relevant data.
Where it is stored
The functional database is stored locally using Apple technologies, and CloudKit synchronisation is disabled for the app. You can edit or delete content directly in TDEEzy. When you uninstall TDEEzy, the app’s local data is removed according to standard iOS behaviour.
Your personal food catalogue
When you select a personal CSV file, it is read and imported locally to temporarily replace the bundled catalogue. TDEEzy does not upload the CSV to the developer’s servers. You can remove it in the app and restore the original catalogue.
Local metrics and logs
The app may keep aggregate technical counters on the device to support operation and feature checks. They do not contain names, email addresses, foods, calories or weight, and are not transmitted to the developer. System technical messages are designed not to expose sensitive information in plain text.
4. Apple Health and HealthKit
Where available, and only after you grant permission through Apple’s system screens, TDEEzy may read authorised data such as weight, active energy, resting energy, steps and sleep, and may write the water samples you choose to record.
You can change permissions at any time in the iOS Health settings. TDEEzy uses this data only for the features shown in the app: it does not sell it, use it for advertising or send it to the developer.
Apple’s policies and your device settings govern the Health database and any iCloud synchronisation of health data.
5. Premium purchases
Annual and Lifetime purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. TDEEzy receives the information needed to verify access to Premium features, but the developer does not receive card numbers, Apple Account passwords or payment credentials.
Apple’s terms and tools apply to pricing, renewals, cancellations, refunds and purchase history.
6. Support and feedback
When you choose to email info@scirpolistudio.com, your email address, message and any attachments are processed to answer your request and handle the reported issue.
The app may prefill its version, build and iOS version. The message is only sent after you take action in Mail. Please do not include passwords, your Apple ID, health information, food diary or other unnecessary personal information.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in providing support and improving product reliability. Messages are retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and any related obligations.
7. This website
The official TDEEzy pages do not install advertising cookies and do not integrate analytics or profiling tools. Your light or dark theme choice is stored only in your browser using local storage.
As with any website, the server and hosting provider may temporarily process technical data required to deliver and secure the pages, such as IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser and response code. This data is used for security, service continuity and legal compliance, and is retained according to the provider configuration for no longer than necessary.
When you follow an external link, such as the App Store, Apple Support or scirpolistudio.com, the relevant provider’s policy applies.
8. Recipients and international transfers
Local app data is not disclosed to the developer. For the areas described above, limited information may be processed by Apple for the App Store and HealthKit, by the website hosting provider, by the email provider and by authorities where required by law.
If a provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, the processing is subject to the safeguards required by applicable law and the terms published by that provider.
9. Your rights
Where Articles 15–22 of the GDPR apply, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent authority in your country.
To exercise a right, email info@scirpolistudio.com. Please remember that the developer cannot remotely access or erase information stored only on your device.
10. Age, health and updates
TDEEzy is intended for adults. It is not a medical device, does not provide diagnoses and does not replace a doctor, registered dietitian, nutrition professional or other qualified healthcare professional.
This policy may be updated when the app, website or applicable obligations change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
